Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of almaazim.com and the Almaazim Events app and dashboard (the "Service"), operated by Almaazim ("Almaazim", "we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your login details confidential, and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.
2. The Service
Almaazim Events lets you create events, design or select invitation templates, manage guest lists, send invitations and track responses, including acknowledgements through WhatsApp. We may change, improve or discontinue features at any time. Third-party services (such as WhatsApp) are subject to their own terms and availability, which we do not control.
3. Your content and guest data
You keep ownership of the content you provide, including event details, images and guest lists. You grant us a limited licence to host, process and transmit that content solely to provide the Service. You are responsible for having the right to share your invitees' details with us and to contact them, and for complying with applicable law when you do so. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for unlawful, misleading, harassing, hateful or offensive purposes, or for content that is contrary to public morals or the laws of Qatar;
- send spam or unsolicited bulk messages, or invite people who have asked not to be contacted;
- upload content that infringes others' intellectual property or privacy rights;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to, disrupt, reverse engineer or overload the Service;
- resell or provide the Service to third parties without our written permission.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Pricing and payment
Prices are shown on our pricing pages in Qatari Riyal (QAR) or Saudi Riyal (SAR) and may change from time to time; the price confirmed at checkout applies to your order. Invitation packages are priced by number of invitees and templates are priced separately. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers, and you agree to provide accurate payment information and to be authorised to use the payment method. Taxes, if applicable, are your responsibility unless stated otherwise.
6. Refunds and cancellations
Because invitations, templates and custom design work are digital services that begin to be delivered immediately, purchases are generally non-refundable once an invitation has been sent or a template or custom design has been delivered. If you were charged in error, were charged twice, or a purchased service could not be delivered because of a fault on our side, contact us within 14 days at [email protected] and we will review the request and, where appropriate, refund or credit the amount.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, branding, predefined templates and documentation, is owned by Almaazim or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service and our templates for your own events in accordance with these Terms. Custom designs created for you may be used for your event; we may keep and reuse general design elements that are not specific to your content.
8. Availability and delivery
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Delivery of messages depends on third parties (for example mobile networks, email providers and WhatsApp), and we are not responsible for delays or failures outside our reasonable control. Please check your guest contact details and send invitations in good time before your event.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Almaazim will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, including loss of profits, data or goodwill, or for losses arising from the failure of an event or invitation. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the relevant order in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Almaazim harmless from claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service in breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.
12. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Doha, Qatar, unless mandatory law provides otherwise. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve any issue informally.
